Established in 1995, Resurrect Romance Week was founded by Michael Webb, creator of TheRomantic.com and author of The Romantic's Guide. The celebration takes place every year on the second full week in August – this year from August 9-15 – six months after Valentine's Day. Resurrect Romance Week was created by Webb for couples to not focus on money and ‘things’ and instead to equate romance with time and attention.
